According to China Customs, in April 2026, China exported 33,700 tons of tea, up 1.72% year-on-year and 5.20% month-on-month; export value reached $130 million, rising 9.88% year-on-year and 9.48% month-on-month; and the average export price stood at $3.87 per kilogram, up 8.01% year-on-year and 4.07% month-on-month.
For the January to April, the total tea exports amounted to 133,900 tons, a slight decrease of 0.12% year-on-year, while export value increased by 10.22% to $517 million, with the average export price rising 10.35% year-on-year to $3.86 per kilogram.
